Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?

A Sunday service at questCHURCH is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. We provide a printed outline for notes in your worship guide that will help you make the most of each week’s teaching. Children are well cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun filled KIDSquest service.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

At questCHURCH your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry called KIDSquest as well as a life changing ministry to students from junior high through college called MOTION.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?

Come in what is comfortable for you. At quest, we care about you – not what you wear.

DO YOU HAVE A MIDWEEK SERVICE?

Our only large group gathering each week is on Sundays at 10:30am. To focus on relationships, we encourage people to connect throughout the week in small groups to develop friendships and apply the scripture we discussed during our Sunday service.

HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?

There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Growth Track, and our small groups are a great way to connect and make like-minded friends. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.

HOW CAN I BE DISCIPLED AND GROW?

Our desire is to see you become a fully devoted follower of Christ. Our Growth Track offers the tools necessary to enable this in your life. You can begin the process in our Growth Track, and you can jump in at any step; they do not have to be attended in order.

WHY DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUPS?

Small groups are an important part of questCHURCH; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced our church until you’ve experienced our small groups. Small groups allow you to meet others and develop relationships that will enhance your relationship with God. As questCHURCH grows, small groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Small groups are available for all ages and interests—we invite you to find the one that’s just right for you. To learn more about why we’re big on small groups, or find a group, visit our directory.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN A SMALL GROUP?

One of the easiest things to do at questCHURCH is to participate in a small group. Groups meet throughout the area and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there is a small group near you. Check out our online directory to find a group near you and visit this week!

WHY DO WE MAKE SUCH A BIG DEAL OUT OF GETTING INTO A SMALL GROUP?

We believe a Small Group is where your life is going to change the most, where you will grow. When you get together regularly with the same group of people where you are known, loved, celebrated, and serve together, that’s when you experience church the way God intended it. You will miss out on the most exciting part of quest if you never connect to a Small Group.

IN AN ATTEMPT TO BE CULTURALLY RELEVANT, DO YOU EVER WATER DOWN THE BIBLE?

No. God’s Word is our final authority. We never ignore truth because we want people to like us, but we do try to package truth within the language of our culture so that people can hear it in a way that makes sense and is relevant.

WHAT DENOMINATION ARE YOU?

We’re not part of any denomination. And we’re not the only Christians, we’re just a body of people committed to being the church as described in the Bible. If you want to know what we believe, check out our statement of faith. We are, however, affiliated with he Christian & Missionary Alliance Churches, which is an inter-denominational organization of thousands of churches around the world who are committed to using innovative ways to connect people who are far from God with His love for them. All decisions about our church are made by quest leaders, and all of our finances go towards quest ministries and our partners. All financial matters are overseen by our Spiritual Board of Directors, and our financial books are open to anyone who inquires.

WILL YOU BE ASKING FOR MONEY?

We do give our offering every week, but it is for our regular attendees, not for guests. quest is supported financially by the people who have chosen to make it their church home. You won’t find us trying to squeeze cash out of you every time you walk through the door. Giving should never flow out of compulsion or guilt, but rather out of desire to love God and be a part of what He’s doing in and through the church.
